I am currently leading a Bible study on the book of Esther at my parish. We have about 37 women who attend (it’s a 10 week class) and it’s been really great for us all. This is not a Catholic study, but it has allowed us to dig into the word of God and to form bonds with one another. It has been life-changing for many who never read the Bible before.

I am looking at doing Women of Grace next. If you have done this study, please share with me the format and content a little. Were the dvd’s engaging? Was there also large or smaller group discussions? Was there homework?

Thanks!

Esther is a wonderful story. My late Daddy was Jewish and we always went to Temple on Purim to boo and stamp our feet and make noise whenever Haman’s name came up!

I, too, would like to hear from anyone that has done the Women of Grace study …

I’ve been thinking about running an inquiry in our parish bulletin and see if I could get a group together …
