Women's Support Group Name Change

Just wanted to let everyone know that CAF changed the original name of our support group for women which had been “Women Suffering while Loved Ones View Pornography” to “Women Suffering from Unchastity”. They felt the original title wasn’t appropriate for younger viewers here at CAF. Unfortunately, the new title they provided is somewhat misleading, and it almost makes it appear that the women are the ones looking at unchaste material. We’re hoping those in need can still find the group if they’re searching here at CAF for support.
Anyway, please feel free to join us if you’re a woman and have experienced the damaging effects of the hurt from this parasite in your marriage or relationship with your boyfriend or are still experiencing it now. There seem to be a lot of support groups out there for men in this regard, but it’s hard to find one for women (either online or at local churches, etc.), and we’re hoping we can all help each other. Wow, is that ever a difference in meaning. I had seen the new title of your group and thought, “Who would have the humility to be a part of that group?!” The new title is not “somewhat misleading,” it is completely different from your original intention. I pray you can work with the mods to create a more informative name for your group, as this support is so needed.

Still working with the folks at CAF to try to get the name of our group changed to “Women Suffering While Loved Ones View Unchaste Images” since they took the word porn out of the title. Hopefully they will be able to change it soon so that it says what our group really is there for, but in the meantime, please feel free to join us if you’re a woman who is upset because your husband or boyfriend is following satan’s lead and viewing porn.

Thanks, whm. I had sent Jo one message and then another when I hadn’t heard from her in over a week. She just wrote back that she couldn’t change the title to anything better. I’m really disappointed and now hoping she may change her mind when she reads my suggestion for the title to be, “Women Suffering While Loved Ones View Unchaste Images.” She said she thought the title I had given it originally (Women Suffering While Loved Ones View Porn") implied the women were doing the porn viewing, but I don’t understand how she thought that…) I know she didn’t want “porn” in the title, though, because of younger viewers at CAF, but I sure hope she can change it from what it is now!
