Word choice during Confession

Is it okay to avoid words that may be a bit too explicit when Confessing your sins?
(if you think the words you have chosen accurately describes the sin in enough detail, that no misconception can be made about the sin you are describing.)

I think so yes. If the priest does not understand he will ask you.
 
Confess briefly the kind and number “I broke the 3rd commandment X times”, “I committed impure acts Y times”. The priest will ask for details if he needs them
 
Most sins have straightforward names that can be said without ambiguity. For example, rather than just mentioning breaking the 6th commandment, which is ambiguous, say the specific sin–masturbation, fornication, pornography, etc.
