The movement for fairness starts in all of us. We don’t have to have to use technology to improve our impact on the world. When young women get more encouragement in finding the right mate that’s when society will improve.

Carole is one of a few people who cared enough to think of what is having a negative impact on the world and women’s lives. One day while she was on the bus she noticed there was a unwed mother. It saddened Carole to think that a lot of children didn’t have fathers in their lives.

In know way am I trying to find fault in anyone or criticize any bodies religion. All I want you to do is to watch this video. Feel free to explain what you think of this video according to your point of view. Please know debate on who is right or wrong.

If you have any questions on this video please email Carole Settles at : carole.settles2@gmail.com

I watched it and I have some feedback.

First off, you seem like you are living your words. Thank you for obviously being on the front lines. And being active with these issues. Children need fathers.
My criticism is minor.
  1. Don’t say forget about the OT. That is not really a good idea. You can say to focus on the new but the Old is also important and we don’t want to give the impression it isn’t.
  2. When talking about making lives better for children. Stay away from Michael Jackson songs. Regardless of his guilt or innocence it is not a good idea.
  3. Don’t be afraid to be specific, once you state your intent to not offend offer some more detail as to what exactly you are proposing.
But other than that it looks pretty good!

You seem to be doing pretty good work

what is ‘the movement for fairness’? i haven’t heard about this in church.

The movement for fairness is just a group of people who want every one to be treated fairly. It is not fair that some children don’t have their fathers in their lives.

i see. it used to be that most children without fathers lost them through no fault of the father and mother. but these days, it’s almost always the fault of one or the other. we even have people choosing to have children with only a father or a mother. very sad. what can be done?

The vagueness makes one skeptical. An organization should be able to communicate what they do clearly and accurately. Just saying we want more fathers in lives is not good enough. Can you provide specifics? What do moneys support? What is the actual way that you have there be more fathers in lives? These things matter before anyone can really give meaningful comments or support. As it is now it is just a woman with an opinion 99.9 percent of people agree with. So there really is not much there…

How did she know she was an unwed mother?
Does not really matter. There are many unwed mothers and deadbeat dads. Especially in bigger cities. The anecdote does not need to be analyzed as much as the problem.

Lets not get ridiculous.

as far as my comments on the video, she’s right about the problem, and bill cosby and others have spoken out about this, only to be attacked. within the church, there are many many problems, and outside, the church it’s even worse. what can we do without God? i suggest prayer, and lots of it. other than that, it’s in the hands of our elected officials who only seem to make matters worse.
