Precisely.
My earlier response was sort of “off the cuff” and taking a positive spin on the matter and while a legitimate viewpoint, there are additional things to consider.
The fact that the OP is concerned about what “slipped out” indicates that they made the comment without thinking. In other words there was no conscious decision to praise God or to curse Him. This by itself means any sin could not be mortal since it fails the, “full knowledge and consent of the will” test.
However, by letting such a thing “slip out”, one is demonstrating a less than perfect governing of the tongue. This can lead to all sorts of problems if the tongue, and the thoughts behind the tongue, are not properly disposed toward the Kingdom and toward God. In this case, the indication is that the mind was properly disposed and the spontaneous ejaculation was one of praise to God. May God grant the OP grace to remain so.
For the rest of us, considering this matter is a good lesson in making sure that we too remain properly disposed toward God so that, should we display any verbal outbursts, they too will take the form of Praise to God because our thoughts are always properly disposed toward Him.
Peace
