Work of angels? Work of the Holy Spirit?

Jesus said that he’d send us the “Helper” which is the Holy Spirit to guide us. It is also clear that we each have a guardian angel to guide us. What’s the difference between the work of the Holy Spirit and guardian angels? Both seem to have similar roles in the scheme of things (one difference obviously being that one is part of the Trinity and one is just a creature). They both have roles as “guides” or “helpers”. Are there things that should only be asked of the Holy Spirit and not angels in terms of guidance? What’s the key difference with asking the one or the other?

The Holy Spirit is God, and the angels were created by God.
