I have been looking around on Godtube lately, and I have been shocked by the anti catholic clips. In one case a poster who put on a clip titled “why I am Catholic” was attacked. And all her post where she used scripture to back up her beliefs was deleted. Making it look like she could no respond. On another occasion a clip showing a debate between someone called dr white and a priest, had the comment section stopped because someone said that dr white seemed arrogant at times during the debate and that it seemed edited in favour of white. Then asked if they could post an "unedited version. If you type Catholic or Vatican it won’t take you long before you are confronted by this anti catholic attacks.
This would be a great opportunity for Catholics to defend their faith to a wider audience. There are a lot of good Catholic clips on there. In fact a good majority are good clips. But there are an awful lot of anti catholic ones as well.

People often forget that protestants (including evangelicals) are heretics, who are outside of the Churhc and therefore outside of Christ, which is not a good thing. Since they are outside of any legitimate theological authority they have to justify their beliefs by attacking the True Authority, the Church. GodTube is a great opportunity for us Catholics to defend the Truth by posting videos and holding discussings in the comments section. This can also be done on other sites like YouTube where muslims and atheist reign. I have been posting the sermons from my Tridentine parish on youtube and will start posting them on GodTube. It is interesting I am getting far more hits on GodTube than on YouTube. Hopefully this reflects a greater hunger for the Truth.

I would also suggest for other people to begin posting their Latin Masses or Sermons on the Internet or broadcasting them on Cable access. This is not only a good way to evangelize but a good way to educate Catholics on the Latin Mass.

I agree with the original poster. We need to do a lot of work.
 
I know this is an old post but I have come to find this lately, this is actually what lead me to this site. I don’t feel I know enough catholic doctrine and scripture to stand up for our faith. All I know is how to share the Lords love and try and be kind but it’s awfully hard to write back when they are throwing scripture and their understanding of it. Often times it seems like scripture is taken out of context like only one verse taken out of a whole section or chapter alone sounds different than when you read the whole chapter it’s meaning is different is this alright to do, I mean I know we should read the bible being led by the Lord seeking Him for understanding but when they throw scripture like that I tend to back off because if I am ignorant in the word I’ll just fuel their debate, I don’t want to do any injustice to Gods word. I hope to learn more from everyone on here, but yeah I agree we need more Catholics on Godtube I almost quit it but then I realized it’s alright to feel hurt by them for by doing so we can offer our suffering to Christ and we can also not fully of course but somewhat share in His persecution. So I will stay there and keep sharing what the Lord is doing in my life. It would be great to have more catholic ministries on there speaking up, but I felt they should call it Godtube Catholic Christians not welcome to share. But I know I can’t let it turn me to hate we are all learning. They have just been misguided in their teaching I wonder if anyone can answer me this Are they taught in each of these denominations only certain scripture or do they read the whole bible? Just wondering also I noticed that their arguments match the arguments of non believers or those fallen away? well sorry this was so long but I saw this and had to comment seeing as it was what lead me here!
