Working for a christian organization

There is a not for profit Christian organization in my town that has advertised a job to which I applied. The actual job duties would be in-line with my education and something I would like to do. However, I am a bit concerned because I have attended several non-denomination events hosted by protestants over the years and often their attitudes toward me as a Catholic have not been very kind.

Has anyone worked for a faith based protestant organization and be willing to tell me what it was like and the pros and cons?

It is hard to generalize. There are protestants who are hostile to Catholicism and some who are quite friendly to it.
