Workplace slander and malice

I am working in an environment, where a senior member of staff has gone to great lengths to undermine me, worked hard to isolate me and has also slandered me within the organization. I have received confirmation of this from a variety of sources and have tried to deal with it over the past 4 years. Yet this has not stopped and my efforts to raise awareness of this have not helped. He is a well connected senior staff member and I have become aware that his efforts have caused other senior leaders to doubt my integrity and ability to deliver on my job. While I have the support of some senior management who are aware of the situation, this has not changed. As a result some career opportunities have been blocked for me.

I am not the only one that he has done or is doing this to and I have noticed that he seems to get a kick out of ruining things for people.

He is clever, cunning and politically astute and I am aware of other people who have been targeted in a similar way and been forced out of the organization.

Firstly, due to my personal circumstances, I am unable to leave. Secondly, I do not want to give in to such wickedness. Thirdly, my daily rosaries have helped me to endure and withstand. Fourthly, I love my job and most people in my organization. Fifthly, I want to help and support the others who are also going thought this (which has been noticed and placed even a bigger target on my back).

I have been able to expose some of this and he has backed off for a time. However, he has now been working hard to hurt me and two other employees I am aware of. I believe that the goal is to drive people out and cause hurt and harm.

Please pray for me, that God would give me strength to endure and help the others. That any slanderous words would be exposed for what they are. That Gods will be done and that Mary would help us in this time of trial.

For Help in Trials

Most holy apostle St. Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the name of the traitor who delivered your beloved Master into the hands of His enemies has caused you to be forgotten by many. But the Church honors and invokes you universally as the patron of hopeless cases–of things despaired of. Pray for me who feels so hopeless. Make use, I implore you, of that particular privilege accorded to you of bringing visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need, that I may receive the consolations and succor of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings, in particular (Al1234), and that I may bless God with you and all the elect throughout eternity. I promise you, O Blessed St. Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor, and I will never cease to honor you as my special and powerful patron, and to do all in my power to encourage devotion to you. Amen.

PRAYER IN A TIME OF TRIBULATION

O Lord, hear my cry pouring out from a troubled heart. The sorrow which clutches at my soul has driven me to You my protector, my True Friend in time of need. You know, my God, all my failings, my faults and my sins as well as the torment gripping my soul. My greatest sorrow should be for my disregard of Your holy commandments in the past, and I sincerely hope that you will grant me the grace of true contrition. O my Savior, hide not Your Face from me in this tribulation, let the light of Your Countenance shine upon me that I may be illuminated by Its love. If it be Your will, lighten this burden from me, yet should it be a means of my salvation, help me, help me O Lord, to carry this cross, for alone I can do nothing. Radiate Your love upon Your prodigal child O Lord, this beggar who knocks at Your door seeking shelter in Your Sacred Heart; this once proud earthen vessel made of clay seeks You, O Christ, and in a newly found faith, firmly believes that you will receive him in Your limitless Love and Mercy. Amen.
