Will Al Quada be in charge of much of the Arab world?
I doubt it. Some people may support various parts of their cause, but it is difficult for real terrorist groups such as them to gain foothold in the mainstream.
Will all these countries seeking independence become democracies?
Technically no countries are democracies. I think that many Muslim countries will work toward a more representative government, though they won’t look exactly what is seen in Western countries.
Yes.
will communist China become so powerful that she’ll seek to dominate by invading Taiwan, and other smaller nations around her?
China will definitely continue to become more powerful economically and politically on the world’s stage. China has a historic tendency toward isolationism, but has had to become more open for resource reasons. With regard to invasion, the Chinese view Taiwan as part of China, so it is plausible an invasion could occur. I doubt it would extend to any area that China has has no historic claim on.
Will America lose supremacy and become a third world power?
The U.S. is already losing its supremacy. The only way I see that being reversed is to suddenly balance the budget and paying down debt. Otherwise, the dollar is no longer going to be the world’s reserve currency, and economic consequences follow that. We won’t become a third world power simply because of the amount of natural resources relative to other countries, and the size of the military.
Will other countries come to the aid of Palestine and cause a full fledged war in Isreal?
Beats me…that conflict is a mess, and don’t have a clue how it will turn out.
Would any country come to the aid of America if her debt crisis can’t be handled by herself?
It already can’t be handled. Other countries have aided, but the crisis is so big that the Fed has to print money…that never turns out good in the end.,
We’ve helped Japan become a world economy since its loss in WW2.Does it think it owes us anything? We help China defeat the Japanese does it feels like it owes us?
You can’t blame China and Japan…they’ve been major players in buying our debt. It’s now time to focus on the real problem…the U.S. creating excessive debt in the first place.
With all this disparity of wealth in the US will this lead to some kind of uprising?
The growing disparity in wealth is due to several factors. One is that people that have excess capital in a time of economic crisis are the ones investing and making money…not necessarily just the “wealthy,” but anyone with excess capital. The second is the artificially low interest rates in the U.S. The wealthy can, and have, taken advantage of that. I don’t blame them though; they’re just taking advantage of government policy.
Could an uprising occur? Sure. The problem is, though, that a modern country without a wealth class is always worse off than a modern country without a wealth class.
