I know Saint Rose of Lima is the perfect saint to pray THROUGH for this. I wish I could be perfectly beautiful like her but not care for it. How blessed is she to have both inner and outer beauty in the extremes. I’m not as beautiful nor as holy. I dedicate too much time online learning about models, plastic surgery, celebrities. How can a 21st century young adult woman care less about pop culture? It’s so difficult for me to believe looks are not important or don’t matter, especially when it comes to dating.

It also annoys me that I cannot know everything or be perfect. Or not everyone will like me no matter how hard I try. Or knowing it is wrong to use your sexuality to get men to like you.

Other than St. Rose of Lima, who other great saints for women to pray THROUGH?
 
St. Brigid asked God to make her physically unattractive. I feel like she’d be a good intercessor here.
 
Maybe Blessed Solanus Casey for accepting that you don’t know everything.
 
Honestly, although I’m a guy, I feel the same struggle you do at least in regard to weight and muscle. I’m always afraid I’ll never be able to get a Catholic girlfriend unless I am thin and fit. I guess it’s a good thing because I’d never be able to motivate myself to exercise or cut calories any other way lol. Not sure when it becomes a sin tho
 
Plenty of bigger or less physically fit guys out there have girlfriends. (Not saying you are but you sounded concerned) Based on your profile, you have so many talents and fascinating hobbies! Your person will come along, the person who properly appreciates the awesomeness that is you. Unless your vocation is to the priesthood. I’d be quite captivated by a priest with those talents!

Unreasonable assignment: you and the OP drive across the country or the ocean? to go out on a date. Youre both worried about vanity so deliberately dress like absolute garbage on your first date. You can put your best aesthetic foot forward on the 2nd date to make it more interesting. Come on ya crazy kids! I believe in love! 😍❤️😍❤️:clinking_glasses: Dancing. There should be dancing.
