Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come
thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

***'Who will give me wings, as of a dove, that I may fly, and find rest?
Till then let my soul be fledged, Lord Jesus, let it grow wings, I pray
You, in the nest of Your chastening: let it rest in the cleft of Your
rock, in the cavern of Your wounds. Let it embrace You, the crucified
one: let it take from You the draught of Your precious blood. While
I wait, let this sweet meditation fill my memory, lest forgetfulness
darken it for me: while I wait, let me look upon myself as knowing
nothing, except my Lord, and Him crucified, lest my empty error
seduce my knowledge from the firm foundation of the Faith, let the
delight of all my love be in You, lest I be taken up by any worldly
desire."

PRAYER FOR TRUST
O Christ Jesus,
when all is darkness
and we feel our weakness and helplessness,
give us the sense of Your presence,
Your love, and Your strength.
Help us to have perfect trust
in Your protecting love
and strengthening power,
so that nothing may frighten or worry us,
for, living close to You,
we shall see Your hand,
Your purpose, Your will through all things.

(By St. Ignatius of Loyola, 1491-1556)

May God Bless You Always…

Thank you so much to everyone for all of your beautiful prayers. They mean a lot to me and I appreciate them very much. Please know that you are all in my daily prayers too.
Catherine.

Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen. :crossrc:

Oh, and here is a couple of Bible passages for those who worry too much. 🙂

(Luke 12:24 NAB-A) Notice the ravens: they do not sow or reap; they have neither storehouse nor barn, yet God feeds them. How much more important are you than birds!
(Luke 12:25 NAB-A) Can any of you by worrying add a moment to your lifespan?

O God, I humbly implore…
In my lack of trust, let me live faith.
In my disappointment, let me live hope.
In my bleakness, let me live joy.
In the emptiness of my heart, let me live love.
In my deprivations, let me value what is precious before You.
In my weakness and illness, grant me spiritual health.

In my anger and resentment, let me live generosity and forgiveness.
In my detachment, let me live community.
In the difficulties of commitment, let me be dedicated.
In my failures, let Your Spirit bless and heal.
In my successes, let Your will be served.

In human reality, let me live spiritual wisdom.
In maturity, let me become true child of the Father.
In my individuality, let me live in Eucharistic communion.
In the kind and warm things that I try to do, let Your grace flow.

In the confusion of my life, in my striving and good intentions
—regardless of my doubts, mistakes and infirmities,
let me fully live Your will in vibrant, humble trust.

O God, your Son accepted our sufferings to teach us the virtue of patience in human illness. Hear the prayers we offer for our sick brothers and sisters. May all who suffer pain, illness or disease realize that they are chosen to be saints, and know that they are joined to Christ in his suffering for the salvation of the world, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Lord, look upon me with eyes of mercy,
may Your healing hand rest upon me,
may Your lifegiving powers flow into every cell of my body
and into the depths of my soul,
cleansing, purifying, restoring me
to wholeness and strength for service in Your Kingdom.

Amen.

Dear Lord, be with your servant that worry be put aside and replaced with trust in Your will and presence.

Thank you all so very much for your wonderful prayers. Please continue to pray for me. I’m finding life very difficult at the moment. With our recent bereavement and then having to go away today for 5 weeks and leave my Dad on his own after our recent loss has been extremely difficult for me to do. I work in the entertainment industry and I sometimes find it so hard, as it can be such a false business and I find I can hardly trust anybody. There are so many who betray you and it is hard to find true friends. Sometimes I feel so frightened. Please continue to pray for me and know that you are all, always in my prayers.
Thank you,
Catherine.

Please pray for those (including myself) who worry unnecessarily and lack faith that God has a plan for our lives and provides for our every need.
I know what it is like to worry, and I will pray for you Catherine m at Mass tomorrow morning.

They instantly act upon Your commands.
Please direct Your angels to assist me,
Ensuring the accomplishment of Your work,
In accordance with Your Divine will.

That Your angels are available to me
As restrainers of diabolic obstacles.
Thank You Lord for Your auspice!

I Said a Prayer for You Today
Code:
I said a prayer for you today
And know God must have heard.
I felt the answer in my heart
        Although he spoke no word!

I didn't ask for wealth or fame
        (I knew you wouldn't mind).
I asked him to send treasures
Of a far more lasting kind!

I asked that he be near you
        At the start of each new day;
To grant you health and blessings
And friends to share your way!

I asked for happiness for you
In all things great and small.
But it was for his loving care
I prayed the most of all!
