Worst night please help

Thank you for lifting me up these past few days. I can feel it!

Lorraine, I’m not currently on any regular meds. I was mercifully freed from regular drug therapy years ago. I take Xanax as needed and only recently was it NEEDED. Maybe it is time to reconsider medication. I don’t know but I’m seeing a therapist in a few days and we’ll go from there. I’m sure God will guide me through.

But the prayers and the comfort and sharing have held me up and I appreciate it very much all.

My prayers for you:crossrc: I have been in the dark pit before and know how hard it is. Though it may seem you are being held onto the Lord by a thread- oh how strong that thread is! Our faith seems so small, the size of a mustard seed, but His provision is Great! Yes, the evil one sends his lies (think of the temptations of Jesus when He was weak) But good always overcomes evil. Fortunately joy comes in the morning. Hold tight to Your Lord. Rest your weary head on His shoulder and He will hold you.

My humble gratitude for your continued prayers and encouragement. I’m a bit low today, but I think mostly due to the gloomy skies. Not used to days and weeks of clouds and rain here in southern AZ!

May God shine His Light through the darkness of depression and all illnesses that afflict the minds and emotions. May He bring about His Great Good in our sufferings. Jesus, I trust in You!

Thank you so much for picking this post up and continuing in your prayers! I think I’m out of the worst of it and I’ve got help from my parish priest - Fr. Greg of St. Andrew the Apostle - and through a counselor who I have known for years. I’m feeling that the issues are at a 2 out of 10 right now…when I wrote this post I was at about 8.5 out of 10 in desperation. I am blessed by your help and by the strength and love of my wonderful wife.

The Lord is working His Will through my life and I pray that I will come out of this better able to be a comfort to others and a light to those who have been suffering in this darkness.

God bless you all and thank you for your prayers, encouragement and compassion.
