As a Catholic, I enjoy watching football.
But in my opinion, Super Bowl LIII was the worst ever.
Very dull.

And the tease of Sweet Victory at the halftime show… Unacceptable 😃

I didn’t watch it at all because I had no interest in either team playing this year.
My friends who did watch said same thing you did - that it was very dull.
Good thing the local Knights of Columbus cancelled their bowl party after the Eagles were eliminated.

Football season ended when the Steelers were eliminated.

I wore black today to mourn the Patriots’ win. Now there’s another team with six wins. 😠

The commercials weren’t very good either. Too many of them were ‘social justice’ type commercials 🤢.

Or just dumb.

The best one was the NFL 100 commercial that had all the great players in it. And the re-enactment of the Immaculate Reception! 🤩

A really, really good one… I wonder if Franco and Juju talked at all when they weren’t filming

I quit bothering with the Super Bowl commercials years ago because of all the social justice “message” ads. Not interesting, not inspiring, not fun.

I much prefer the Subaru Dogs ads that run during Kitten Bowl, although one of them was a repeat from last year. Still a cute ad though.

I’ll have to watch again to see JuJu. Im sure I missed quite a few.

Gee it was a close game and could’ve gone either way.

Oh well, Super Bowl games tend to be boring for those who don’t have their team in it, and aren’t true football fans anyway. 😃

For us in New England, it was a great game.

Yeah, like who honestly gets sentimental over Google Translate? 🤨

😐

Although I liked that part of the commercial where Brady took all his rings off.

At least you’re a true Pats fan and not a Brady bandwagoner…

Not that I have a problem, but I do like to watch him get hammered.

Agreed. Not a blow out by any means, and tied up to the last seven minutes, and not really decided until the Pat’s last field goal. Strong defensive game. Anxious disappointment every time the Pats failed to get to the red zone, fearful our defense would crumble like it often does, and brief respite every Rams’ punt.

Just a salty steelers fan 😃

But, a fair amount of the Pats fanbase is now people who became fans once they became good, as opposed to sticking with the team through thick and thin - the regional fans 😃

I was morning our loss against the Packers in the 90s. Ugh.

I’ve followed football, high-school. college and pro, all of my life
