Would angels participate on the CA forums?

What if it were not happening to us, but someone with whom we were conversing? What I mean is, wouldn’t/shouldn’t the response indicate a kind of privileged knowledge?

Interestingly, would someone else’s guardian angel make a comment (or inspire a comment) that was intended to help me, even if it didn’t help their own guardee? (Is that a word? :-D)

Not that the forum is necessarily limited to only GA’s, mind you.
 
Maybe you will find this a more interesting question: How would we know if we weren’t talking to angels on here?

What if loads of the members on the forums were angels? What if they’re all angels playing like they’re limited? (Would they be allowed to disguise their intellects like that?)

There’s not much chance of mistaking me for an angel, with an intellect like mine.🤓
 
You could dismiss me as angelic because:
  1. I have self-described as an average sinner; an angel would never do that as it would be deceptive.
  2. I am too fond of being embodied, and this has come out in my comments. Such would be literally alien to angeldom if we understand them correctly.
So this is at least one instance of someone who is clearly non-angelic; there will be more.

They would try to convince people to do things that are clearly sinful.

So would insightful answers given by people on here who are well-read and/or well-educated in theology. Would there be a way to tell them apart?

Obviously they might know things about your particular history that a theology scholar wouldn’t. What else might stand out?
 
If you think a post is so true, wise, well-written, on-target, and quick that a human could not have written it, you are underestimating humanity. There are good and thoughtful people out there. Sometimes they have already thought the question through and are ready to shoot off the answer.

Sounds like you don’t think angel answers would be brighter than human answers. If higher beings and intellects are not “discernibly” higher in their exercise, what does it mean for them to be higher?

Would they be different in some other way.

The really interesting question then becomes: how would/could you tell? How might electronic dialogue with an angel look different than with regular people? Can angels lie, deceive, or dissimulate?

Good angels would not deceive as they are messengers of God who can neither deceive nor be deceived.

People are protected by being informed, not by being tricked or deceived.

Guess I was thinking more of the way parents misrepresent in order to spare their children from things they are not yet capable of processing adequately.

You may have misread me. I do not doubt that angels could write “brighter” answers, since angels have a higher kind of intellect. I just don’t think they are active here at CAF. Can you point out one post that seems to be super-human?

I agree with Beryllos. If you read a particularly inspiring post, there’s nothing to indicate that it came from anything other than a particularly inspired human. I’d have difficulty believing an angel posted a reply, even if it was remarkably insightful or something.

I’m not saying they can’t, but I have no reason to feel like they would need to. It might help clarify some issues we bring up if they did, though. If there are any angels scrolling through, feel free to respond. 😃
