Not comparing him in any way to Christ, but Marx’s ideas had gotten so convoluted by the public, he stated “I am not a Marxist.” I was just wondering whether or not Christ would consider himself a Christian.
In colloquial terms, a Christian is a follower of Jesus Christ and by baptism a member of Christ’s body the Church, so it is unlikely that Jesus would consider himself his own follower or member.
