I feel I am being lead to return to the Catholic church. I was brought up Catholic, recieved all of the sacrements and then married in a Catholic church. Maybe it is because I just turned 60 and now have grandchildren who are being brought up in the Catholic church. Maybe the Holy Spirit is guiding me. I am wondering If I would be welcome in the church. I have attended a Lutheran church for many years and my children were brought up Lutheran. This was a result of my mother being a Catholic and my father being Lutheran. When I called a Catholic church 30 years ago to have my children baptized, I was told to call another church, even though I was calling the church I wanted to join. That set my husband off (Mennonite) and I ended up going to a Lutheran church. Now that does not seem important at all. I realized I would have to go to confession but would I have to re-do all of the sacrements? My son has married a lovely girl who is Catholic and my grandchildren will be also. I have been going to mass and find great peace when I attend.
Is it too late?

Hi,

All you have to do is go to Confession. Welcome home!!
