Would it be sinful to baptize my grandson secretly?

My daughter is married to a non praticing Baptist. After ten years of marriage they were blessed with my first grandchild. Unfortunately they have not baptised my grandson and I would guess that they are not thinking that it is that important that they baptise as soon as possible. What sin on my part would be greater, to baptise my grandson unbenowest to my daughter and her husband or watch silently knowing that to not give my grandson the gift of baptism jeopardizes his everlasting life? Baptism by desire is not an option for me as I believe if that were the case, baptism by desire would take place for the whole world by Catholics who rightly desire eternal life for the unbaptized. They were married in a ceremony that was not in a Catholic Church (Against my wife and I wishes) but what is done is done.
