This is similar to a post that I posted a while ago, but a little different. The question is this: A person is in confession and the priest is saying the prayers that come around the end. That person remembers a sin, but thinks it is most likely venial, so doesn’t say it. Later this person finds out it is mortal. Would he or she need to go back to confession before recieving the Eucharist, or could he just wait til his next confession to present the sin? Thanks for the answers.
