i am supposed to be english, please dont fall on the floor laughing, not that i would blame you.

I am dislexic and lived in extreem stress as a child, it really messed my education, or better said i let it.

today i will be at my worst, no spell checker.

Sorry my posts are difficult to you.

I have considered i should keep away because of this reason.

while my posts in this thread may not be easy read, and i have poor english i am sure Sr Maria and Brethren Jay have made confusion for me as to if the word you includes me.

I just tried to help you understand because you took a very simple post and made a HUGE issue out of it which was completely uncalled for and unnecessary. Perhaps it is because you didn’t understand her English, but in that case ask for clarification, don’t berate her and make claims against her that aren’t true.

If you didn’t find her post funny, fine. But her joke was not untoward or in any way disrespectful. All of these posts have simply been observations about Planten’s posting styles which lead one to believe that there are multiple people posting under that username.

And BTW, I am female, so it would not be “Brethren Jay.”

The leading away comment was you based on you supporting the use of the word your as meaning not including me.

her post to me did not look like an attempt at humour but one offering i had no humour.
I never commented on her early posts in this thread just where she quoted me.

My comments in my first post were directed at those who had been here for a long time and we know of Planten. I have had pm s and a phone conversations with poster but they continued to engage Planten.

Sister i tried to use Brethren as i did not know your gender, if i had called you Brother i would have been wrong. Brethren is inclusive of both genders, it is nice for me to know you are our Sister. You may have told me this long ago sorry if i did not remember, many posters at CAF.

As one of the posters above said, not trying to mock Planten, just having a bit of fun.

This may or may not be truth and whether it is or isn’t I have to admit from an objective view it is very difficult to label it as anything less than havinng fun at the expense of another human being. If this is not mocking as you say, I shudder to think of what damage could be incurred to the person’s self esteem that would fall victim to the “actual mocking” by those in this thread. Has anyone looked up the word “discretion” lately? Might be useful to know if discussions are going to be taken seriously on this forum. ~ Shalom
