As to devils, temptations etc. one has to look no further than the story of Job to understand (as all the great saints tell us) that all good or bad that comes to us, comes from the hand of God. He is totally in control…and if He permits these good & bad things to happen to us, it is ultimately for our own good and is in His Divine Plan. So don’t credit the Devil with what is happening to you. No-one can curse you unless God permits it. The power of evil is not equal to the power of God.
If God is indeed behind these bizarre events in your life, then time to get cracking and see a good priest who you agree to obey whatever he tells you to do, to maintain peace of soul and your health of body and mind.
Job was tested by God (who gave the Devil permission or he could never do a thing to anyone) and even though all he had was taken away, he did not lose faith and said
"The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away, Blessed be the Name of the Lord."

Help me to remember that nothing is impossible to prayer. Because when I pray, I bring You close and when You are close, I am not alone or afraid. I call on You, and the world eases around me. There is comfort for my hurt…and peace from my worries. As one door closes, I see another open wide before me.
