Would you eat 2 Big Macs and two Filet oā€™fish sandwiches with a chocolate shake at one sitting?

Iā€™m making permanent eating changes. I used to like Big Macs, but itā€™s been a few years since Iā€™ve had one. I used to like chocolate shakes as well. The last one I had was I this past summer maybe. I guess that will be my last for a good long while.

Iā€™m 48, and Iā€™m trying to lower my triglycerides, and heal my liver which has some fat deposits.

So far Iā€™ve lost 20 pounds.

My dad died of a heart attack, and my mom always struggled with being overweight. Iā€™ve decided that I want to be healthy and avoid bad health due to being overweight.

Oh, thatā€™s a cinch. Add those fries and ketchup. Yum for the tum (which is probably why my cholesterolā€™s so high now and Iā€™m to go on a low cholesterol diet).

Congrats on losing 20 lbs! Prayers for the continued success of your diet.

To answer your question: No! šŸ˜€

Might eat a fish fillet with french fries at one sitting but thatā€™s it.

Although if it was a big tub of fries, I could probably make a good sized dent in it.

Iā€™m watching my sugar intake first. So Iā€™ve eliminated all cakes and cookies. No sugar in my coffee. No fruit juice. No soda.

Iā€™ve also eliminated salty snacks like chips. And almost no white flour.

It wasnā€™t unheard of for me to go shopping and then pick up a cake for coffee later. Or whip up a cake for dessert. Or add chips to my lunch.

So now a snack is fruit. Or nuts. I miss the chips. But right now, Iā€™m going to need to avoid on a pretty long term basis.

I ā€œliked your postā€. I also wanted to let you know your doing a good job!

I could polish off a whole bunch of fries as well. Iā€™m limiting potatoes too. Although I did have a baked one last week as a side.

Iā€™ll do one sandwich and one fries šŸŸ
Good luck on your weight loss!

Sugar is the hardest thing to give up. I have to go on a low cholesterol diet because my numbers are so high. I have to stay away from the fast food places. Theyā€™re my downfall.

I hate to admit that, yes, in the past I have eaten that exact meal and the fries, of course, at the time, I needed two scales to weigh me.

No more, slthough, on occasion I will overeat.

Good luck on your diet. Staying healthy is important.

No šŸ™‚ I will drive my kids through ,might pinch one of their fries but happily eat the bananas and water I have in the car.My parents always packed a sandwich so I guess Iā€™ve got that headset ,and Iā€™d rather go to the supermarket and grab something healthy if I was able

Good for you on your weight loss! ā¤ļø

Congratulations! šŸ™‚

All that you that can do is keep on going, and keep on trying! šŸ™‚

I would if I could (and you payed for it) but alas, I could not fit that much in my stomach.

I actually havenā€™t had such a hard time. After the first few days, I donā€™t crave it anymore. And sweet things taste terribly sweet now.

I have a rather miraculous metabolism (iā€™m 17)ā€¦ I could do this easily, I think (I once did 26 whitecastle sliders in a sitting) but I wouldnt feel too good after haha

One of the ladies I work with has the metabolism of a hummingbird. I have seen her down 2 large pizzas and related stuff, then dive into the cookies. She is not in any way heavy.

On the other hand, I can gain 5 pounds reading the dang menu.

I can honestly say Iā€™ve never eaten any of those foods.

Iā€™m more of a nugget and fry girl. šŸ˜‰
