Would you leave your family to live in a better city or state?

I really would not move if I were you. The surroundings where you live are quite good, the Diocese of Denver has some wonderful programs going on, and you are close to your family. Sounds like a win to me. To move away, you would have to find a job and transplant your family and in the end, you might end up in a place that is much worse than where you are. Some communities might look good on surface and you will only figure out how good or bad they are after you live there for a year or two. Are you really willing to take that chance?

You live in Colorado (judging by your screen name), one of the most breathtakingly beautiful states in the whole union, with tons to see and do, and you want to move to Ohio? 🙂 Colorado is a wonderful place to raise a family–think of all the amazing trips you could take when the kids are older.

Even aside from that, it is a blessing to be near extended family and grandparents–nothing can replace that. I vote for staying.
