As per our deal in my thread…

This morning, I went to the chapel at my nearby church, where they have Eucharistic Adoration, and during part of my time there, I said a prayer that the both of us can find our way, or hopefully be led a little bit.

Thank you kindly…I have said a prayer for you in turn…interestingly I seem unable to pray for myself, but can apparently do so for others…?

I will have to give some consideration as to why…

Hey buddy, i read allot of good suggestions but at the end of the day, God will intervene in his own time, all we can do is be patient and keep on seeking Him.

When i was struggling with my faith, i was very depressed about this whole life scenario and how life in this world isn’t forever and how death is always looming ahead for myself and my love ones, i was angry, further more i got angry at God for putting me in this situation of hurt and pain to come. The thing that helped me change my outlook and life completely, was one night i was going for a walk out the road and i was talking to God ( in my mind) and talking turned into releasing all my stored up anger at God, i just let Him have it. I opened up to the point i started crying, so i guess i had a heart to heart moment there. I didn’t get a reply on that night but a few weeks later God revealed to me a purpose to live. So my advice to you is to talk to God about you and where your at in your life or about anything, even get angry at God because God can take it, just let Him have it and God will answer you in the way He knows best.

Build a relationship with God like you would with a good friend on earth, because once you can see the loving relationship you have with God you will realize you had it all along.

Same thing with me. I talked and talked one night until the tears just poured out and God showed me the way back to the church and his love that I thought I had lost. It’s been an awesome journey… He still shows me things.

You have reached out to God in the dark depths called faith. I’m sorry if this makes no sense, but I’ve had no faith before, didn’t believe in God. It takes praying in the darkness, “Hey, where are You…”. It’s a painful prayer done on your knees. Sometimes there’s an undercurrent of fear, unknowing, and even feelings of foolishness as you pray words that feel foreign to your soul. But with time faith comes. It is unexplainable.

I would imagine , somewhere in your life, you prayed for a personal need and God said,“No or Wait.” Those are answers we don’t like and we get mad at God. Or we deny Him. My son in law, who lived with us, was killed in Iraq at age 24yo. They were married 7 mo. Knew each other3 yrs. after his death, my daughter became an atheist. Jason was working on his faith with the Chaplin, when God called him home. I feel God will call us home when our job is done on earth and when our soul is in its best, holiest state. Later, on he could have slipped and had a different destination. My heart is broken. We’re not dead yet.
Your statement shows you are agnostic not an atheist.
Heavenly Father , please show All of us your love. Send all of us your grace. May we get wisdom to ascertain why your answers were no or wait. Send the Holy Spirit to comfort those who need it.
