Would you please pray?

Hello everyone. I know my prayer request isn’t as important as all the others here, but could you please just take a moment and pray for my kitty? He is going to the vet on Tuesday and I am very worried there may be something seriously wrong with him. His name is Basil. Thank you all.
 
O God, the author and giver of every gift,
animals also are a part of the way you provide help
for our needs and labors.
We pray through the intercession of St. Francis of Assisi,
That you care for Basil.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.

I hope Basil will be OK. A prayer for him…

Heavenly Father, please help us in our time of need. You have made us stewards of the kitty, Basil. If it is Your will, please restore him to health and strength. I pray, too, for other animals in need. May they be treated with the care and respect deserving of all Your creation. Blessed are You, Lord God, and holy is Your name for ever and ever. Amen.

St. Francis of Assisi, hear our prayer!
St. Anthony, hear our prayer!
Padre Pio, hear our prayer!
St. Faustina, hear our prayer!

Lord God, I pray for pearlrosary’s pet cat. You are the giver of life and have entrusted this creature to pearlrosary. May this beloved pet be in good health and continue to bring happiness and joy to its owners. Amen.

Thank you everyone for all your prayers and kind words, I cannot express how much they are appreciated. It brings tears to my eyes to know that there are such caring people out there that would take the time to pray for a stranger’s cat.

Unfortunately, Basil was diagnosed with diabetes today. Not good news, but not the worst news, I am very grateful it is something that can be treated. Could you please continue to pray for his health and recovery? Thank you again so much, I am praying for all of you.

Thank you all so much for your prayers. Basil hasn’t been drinking as much water as he was, so hopefully that means he’s improving. The vet said some cats have a complete reversal of their diabetes after being on the type of insulin I am giving him. So if you could, please continue to pray for his recovery. Thank you all again. 🙂
 
I’m so glad that Basil is doing better! It can’t be easy having a cat with diabetes–in fact, I’ve heard that it’s a heckuva lotta work. I hope he continues to improve. (I’ll also be praying that you have the strength to deal with the mountain of care that he needs now!)
