Would you want to know the hour of your death?

I think I would! NOT so that I could sin and repent at the last minute, but rather so I could enjoy the good (non-sinful) things in life without constantly worrying about the possibility of sudden death. I also think that knowing the hour of death would make it more of a reality, and would make me actually prepare better for it in the years leading up to that time (because it’s not possible to spend all one’s time preparing for death while trying to take care of kids, work, etc). What do you all think?

I would want to know so I could give all of my things away!! I am planning within the next year to give away at least half of my possesions anyway, so knowing my death was around the corner would speed up the process!! 🙂

You looking to embrace the evangelical counsel of poverty?👍

I voted No given what other people replied.

I don’t see the benefit of doing more good than you would have otherwise done if you had not known the time of your death.

A truly good person, does good because they know it is good and they love good.

I see no difference between the person that does more good because they know they are going to die and the person who does bad all their lives and repents on the death bed.

Good works alone mean nothing. It is that which is in your heart that counts.
