The righteous are to receive a renewed body after judgement. How come Jesus had his wounds after resurrection?

my guess would be because of the nature of His wounds (supernatural nature i mean). these were not just ordinary wounds (like me getting stabbed or shot), but wounds that allowed for the reconciliation of all mankind.

in revelation, it talks about seeing the lamb as slain (eternally slain, yet once for all as well).

Yes, Jesus shows his wounds to the Father, for our benefit, and to those he decides need to see them, but he is fully alive and fully intact in his risen state.

It seems the resurrected body is totally subject to the soul. Hence, Jesus can determine with His will what His body will look like - whether He will have the same appearance as before His death, or something different and unrecognizable to those who knew Him; whether His wounds will be present or not; …

This also explains why Mary appears differently in her various apparitions - sometimes blond, sometimes brunette, etc.
