I just came back for a look at the above post, and I have to say you all are a most welcoming bunch!

It’s funny really… I’ve never had 54 responses to one of my posts, even amongst Roman Catholics, where I feel like I am able to ask deeper questions… and the only other time one got locked was because I asked something too controversial, not for starting a fire… Must have done something right here…

So I just wanted to say thank you again for all your kindness!

The problem is that many posters think their " ideas " are something special and so they go on and on and on. And only a few long suffering souls bother to try to separate out all the junk that doesn’t mean anything. Unfortunately, these forums are open to absolutely anyone ( I won’t elaborate on that, use your imagination ). 🤷🤷

In fairness, the original thread posed six (6) distinct questions on Eastern Catholicism. As you can see from William’s OP here, the responses were enthusiastic and plentiful, yet direct and well received.
