It’s laughable now but in my small naive mind I thought this would be kind of like cyber-inquiry.

…okay you can all get off the floor and back in your chairs now.

😊

As you see I am a “regular member” and not many less posts than you. I found your posts interesting and not sure what it all means…however felt prompted by the Holy Spirit to respond and say whatever you are seeking ~ continue ~ and whatever you are wondering ~ continue ~ and whatever you are asking ~ continue ~ God always hears those who are seeking the truth.

I promise to hold you in those I am bound to pray for…for you are already “Happily Catholic!”

Thanks for the reply jmjconder!

Oh, no I’m not going anywhere. I was just kind of laughing at myself for thinking people would actually be “kind” when inquiring.

But that’s okay. Everyone is entitled to their opinions and the manner in which they choose to express them.

Just curious though, if you find yourself here again, please feel free to express your opinion about any of my posts. I frequently get the cold shoulder and I suspect it is because I don’t quote scripture and/or the Catechism. I just really can find no evidence of that making a difference at all.

Thanks again.

I am sorry if I have come off as uncharitable in my post. I think that the majority of us here really just want to share our faith with one another and our love for our Savior Jesus Christ.

If you know anything about Episcopalians, we are not the ones that usually win at Bible Quoting Contest…😉

God Bless!

Since charity is the only virtue in heaven it probably is the one we all need to work on the most on earth. I have known some very charitable people in my life that have never quoted a single verse of the Bible or CCC.

One of my guiding principles in my life is: Never confuse the signs of holiness for holiness!

My constant struggle…

God Bless you with strength and courage.

Thank you emeraldcoast. I’ve been harsh too. But I really do believe that each one of us who is Baptized in the name of Jesus is a brother/sister in Christ.

All siblings fight, right?

I wouldn’t mind this thread turning into a way to apologize to someone if they have it on their heart to do so.

So here’s mine. I’m truly sorry for things that I’ve said that have offended anyone and/or hurt feelings. I’m a faithful believer in Jesus Christ and I believe every single person who claims they love our Lord is genuine in that claim.

We are all in different places in our faith journey and I hope if I find someone who’s stumbled along the way, I can pick them up and bring them along.

With that said, I love the debate (quotes and all) from all sides that are on this forum. I have learned SO much!

I think with a little sensitivity we can all get our point across.

Thanks to all.
