Wow, indeed! I’ll need to watch this several times to process it properly. Gotta admit it was difficult to sit through all together, because I really cannot comprehend the charismatic movement of the church. But the words of Bishop Palmer and Pope Francis truly are historic here. What fruits will grow is in His hands, but man, what a start.

This updated blog from Brantly Milligan at Aleteia affirms my first impressions. I still applaud Bishop Palmer’s effort, and suspect he will be shunned from that community in the long run, but who knows. It really is in God’s hands.

Ooh, but this other blog from Fr. Dwight Longenecker (a former Evangelical and former Anglican priest) at Catholic World Report really has my attention. Perspective matters in these things.
