Hi everyone,
I have been praying the novena to the Holy Spirit as we approach Pentecost, and it deals with the gifts of the Holy Spirit. I have been thinking that there is not a lot I have read about the fruits and gifts of the Holy Spirit, as well as the virtues, cardinal and theological. It got me thinking that these are good things to learn more about and discuss with others. I think they are subjects that would appeal even to nonChristians.
But I wanted to find more writing or materials about the virtues and the fruits and gifts of the Spirit. I don’t think about them very much, and probably couldn’t even name all of them off the top of my head. Are there any good writings that are comprehensive on these subjects. Also, I am reading Thomas Aquinas “Summa Theologica” which I am thinking he discuss these subjects, but it might take me a while to get that far. I have been reading it on my Kindle for years and am still only 25% into it.
But please let me know of any writings about the virtues, and the fruits and gifts of the Holy Spirit, especially by any Saints, Doctors, or Popes of the Church.
And also please pray for the Holy Spirit to help me and everyone else know Him better.
