Do you mean an angel? If you mean an angel, then definitely not. You should rely on your guardian angel. If you mean an actual fairy, I’d stay away. There are no fairies, and it’s probably a demon.

I could not imagine how you could do that. However, if you did, it would be a sin because a faerie often is a demon in disguise. The folklore tells us around here that faeries in the woods will take you away, make you forget your memories, etc…

But do not befriend a mystical being without testing it first. Then you can discern if its an angel or a fallen angel. ALWAYS avoid anything inhuman unless it comes from the divine!

If you meet a person who thinks they’ve come to “realize” or “identify” as an angel, they’re mentally ill.

It would be best to avoid it 🙂

Unfortunately, real Tinker Bell’s don’t exist. God knows, I need one to keep my office in order.

I don’t mean to burst your bubble, which means, I don’t want to disappoint you, but Catholics don’t believe in fairies. (generally speaking, anyways. 🙂 )

It really depends on what you mean by Fairy.
  • Actual fairy: No. It’s either imaginative or a demon
  • A homosexual: Sure. If that person is just SSA, then he’s not even actually homosexual. If that person engage in homosexual acts, just tell him your boundary. Regardless, do not call them “fairy”. It became degratory.

Not to state the obvious, but just because something is written in a book doesn’t mean it’s true.

It is books such as the one you mentioned that can take our eyes off of our faith and our Lord Jesus Christ.

We have angels, saints, and our Blessed Mother that can intercede for us.

I don’t believe in fairies. But I believe in the idea of fairies. What I mean by that is the world should be looked through the eyes that will see fairies. We should not have a mechanistic world-view. We should see fairies in the fog and sprites dancing on the raindrops. Wonder is something that should never be lost. The world is a terrible place. Not evil but terrible in the sense that it is dangerous. As Tolkien once said, entering Fairie is dangerous because it is “Other”. Encountering the world with Wonder is dangerous because the “World is Charged with the Grandeur of God”.

That actually might not make much sense. Um, rant over.

You might guess that I like walking in the fog on misty mornings.

These seem to be the possibilities to me:

There are no fairies, so the question is a non-starter.

They are natural beings, who are not humans. In this case, they could be classed in
this matter with aliens, if we ever got in contact with them. Or they would be like meeting bigfoot.

In this case, perhaps we could be friends with them.
Code:
If we met such a creature, they would demons coming in disguise as something harmless
or attractive.
Code:
(By the way, If this involves occult practices, you should stay away from this,
because such practices are channels for the devil)

Fairies don’t exist…

If I may ask, how old are you?

My last pet was a bunny. Don’t let those little cretins deceive you with their adorableness.

Love it!

I prefer to have ruminants, but rabbits are illegal pets in my State. Some bright spark imported rabbits into Australia…then set them free and their numbers exploded exponentially, competing for pasture with stock.

I’ve never met a fairy, except in folklore, but if they existed and I met one, I’d certainly try to have a chat. I don’t see how it would be a sin. I talk to most creatures with any kind of pulse.
Many Irish were amongst the first white residents of Australia, but there has never been any evidence that any ‘little people’ were smuggled into Australia.

However, our Guardian Angels, who have no relation to fairies, are dearest friends even if we neglect them.

Fairies aren’t real? 😭

Note to self: too subtle - need to make sarcasm more obvious.
