Not really when you consider that “virtue” is a Greek concept before it came into English.It’s kind of funny how the English langusge works since it is a good thing (could be considered a virtue) to be scrupulous but “scrupulosity” is a very bad thing
What was well known to the ancient Greeks is that “virtue” is the harmonious balance between two extremes of vice. Too much or too little is viscious (vice-ious).
So the opposite of chastity is not just lust, it is also the little known or experienced (these days) sexual vice of “insensibility”.
So the opposite of “being scrupulous” (I gather you mean something like temperance) is not just scrupulosity (I gather you mean something like strictness) but also laxity.
