Yale Student Engages in Shocking Self-Induced Abortion Art Display

New Haven, CT (LifeNews.com) – A Yale University art student is causing a national controversy with her senior art project that revolves around self-induced abortions. Aliza Shvarts says she artificially inseminated herself “as often as possible" in order to become pregnant and self-induced an abortion with the dangerous RU 486 drug.

Shvarts, a senior art major, would intentionally cause the death of the babies in with the abortion drug.

Well, I suppose that is one way to make a name for yourself. 😦

Regardless of anyone’s position on abortion, deliberately inducing multiple miscarriages is probably unhealthy. Should a student be approved to do this? Surely she had some kind of faculty supervision.
 
The just accept anyone into Yale don’t they? If that was all I need to get in, then I would have sent a bunch of dead puppy sculptures in with my application. Look at my art. I’m a genius!!!
We in the art community call people who do that kind of art for attention, prostitutes. That’s all she’s doing really. Prostituting herself for an “A” and probably some free publicity. From a medical standpoint, how much you wanna bet she either develops some sort of cancer or becomes infertile? I mean that’s blatant abuse of her reproductive system. It’s no different than what happens to bulimics after years of purging. Many don’t have gag reflexes at all anymore and their heart is all screwed up.
 
I think that this is a hoax. It just doesn’t make sense that Yale wouldn’t be afraid of getting sued if this young woman’s miscarriages/abortions leave her damaged. Perhaps the young woman’s art project will actually be a collage of different people’s reaction to her art project

Perhaps they were fooled. The Yale article mentions the name of the senior project adviser, but said she couldn’t be reached for comment.

Fox News apparently phoned Yale Univ. for a comment, but their call was not returned.

Maybe we should wait for confirmation?

Well, some may not like what I am gonna say, but I am going to say it anyway. IF this is true, I hope she does have some kind of trouble such as infertility. She certainly sees no value in life - even of her own - and I seriously hope no child would ever have her as a mother. Infact, I think it’s safe to say she was not even a “mother” to these poor children she aborted - she was a egg donor. They are God’s then now and forever.
 
Displaying the bodies of murdered children and calling it “art” is so beyond outrageous and sick that there are no words to describe it.

That someone would even come up with a story like this as a hoax is profoundly disturbing.

I can’t really say any more. I am too angry and upset to post or even talk. :mad:

babies’ bodies

BR, it’s a totally unChristian attitude to hope anyone suffers consequences of their sins - after all, where would you or I be if we suffered all the full potential consequences of every one of our past sins?
 
She must have faked it. If there is a project, she would be dead or very weak and ill if she really had miscarried chemically several times within a normal gestation period. And for what, a class project? No one’s that senseless. Especially since it doesn’t sound like much of a piece: a big plastic cube. Hello, Miss Shvartz, the sixties are on the phone and they want their art project back.:rolleyes: I bet she’s really going to do some kind of performance art or video sequence of the discussion this outrageous statement causes. I hope she didn’t do it. I’ll bet she didn’t do it.
As for the donors, excuse me, but how many college guys would go for this deal: You go to the clinic and ger checked for STD’s, which is unpleasant, and then give me sperm to impregnate myself with so I can kill your baby and you don’t even get to, well, do anything? Not very many.
 
Well after reading the Yale article…if I had any food in my stomach I would have wanted to vomit…WHO in their RIGHT MIND would want to even go to an art show where some woman’s blood, mixed with the miscarriage is spread on plastic sheets and VIDEO of her actually miscarrying in a bathtub are shown over and over and over…can we say SICK SICK SICK It says even the people who support abortion are shocked by this!

Dear Lord in Heaven what have we come to when this travesty is seen as art? It is a sad day when the darkest places of the human mind are applauded. She didn’t intend for this to have Shock Value my foot! To use LIFE, innocent life, in such a senseless, attention seeking way is beyond anything I can comprehend. Not only did she abuse life but she abused her God given body. I can understand where the other poster came from in hoping there are consequences. I only hope that she has a realization of the gravity of her actions and seeks help and forgiveness.

Beginning next Tuesday, Shvarts will be displaying her senior art project, a documentation of a nine-month process during which she artificially inseminated herself “as often as possible” while periodically taking abortifacient drugs to induce miscarriages. Her exhibition will feature video recordings of these forced miscarriages as well as preserved collections of the blood from the process.

As sad as this is maybe something good will come of this-China uses aborted babies to make exotic soup-here in the US our aborted babies are used for scientific experiments-does anyone really doubt that there are not some companies that pay women to conceive and abort just to harvest the cells?

It will take all this and probably more horror to stop the killing of the innocent unborn.

I have spoken with both young men and women who are not quite sure why abortion is wrong-after this little speech, well it gives them a bundle of things to ponder in a new light, and I never have to repeat myself 5 times in 5 slightly different ways-they “get it” the 1st time.😦

I doubt that the Chinese would generally use aborted babies or components thereof in their food (sounds a bit too Soylent Green for me), but I don’t doubt there are other ways in which they are used 😦
