What come after the Year of Faith, which ended Nov. 2013?
There is nothing (as yet) coming ‘after it’ because declarations for a year to be set aside for a particular purpose aren’t made routinely, i.e., every year. What come after the Year of Faith, which ended Nov. 2013?
Correct, I do not think anything was designated for this year. However, this years’ Ordo states next year 2015, is to be the Year of Grace. There is nothing (as yet) coming ‘after it’ because declarations for a year to be set aside for a particular purpose aren’t made routinely, i.e., every year.
If the Holy Spirit moves Pope Francis (or the Pope after him, not that I wish a short reign for our Pope!)to declare a particular year to be set aside for some special purpose (the way that Pope Benedict declared the year of Faith), then the Pope will do so.
Thank you both for the information. Where might I find the “Ordo”?Correct, I do not think anything was designated for this year. However, this years’ Ordo states next year 2015, is to be the Year of Grace.
The Pope has designated 2015 as the Year of Consecrated Life. See news.va/en/news/year-of-consecrated-life-set-for-2015
This page has info on events that are planned: zenit.org/en/articles/vatican-unveils-year-for-consecrated-life-plans
The Year of Consecrated Life will take place in the context of the 50th anniversary of the Second Vatican Council. You can find the Ordo at any Catholic bookstore.Thank you both for the information. Where might I find the “Ordo”?
