I also just read on another thread so far this is a rumor and has not been confirmed.

maybe we should continue to pray for Fr. Tom’s safety at the hands of his captors and he be shown safety. until I hear word from the Vatican I will keep praying for his welfare and for his courage.

If what people think happened to this priest is true then he is a martyer for the faith and Im quite certain will be in heaven with God. Im sure the Pope will have a mass for him. This is just absolutely evil what these people are doing. They are Satans freinds.
 
Just heard an update on Hugh Hewitt.Apparently an Austrian Archbishop has confirmed Fr.Tom was in fact crucified😞

yes and it doesn’t help there are 2-3 threads about this. I am sure it is hard to get information and verify it. so I guess the best we can do is pray, pray, pray.

It seems that Fr. Tom is alive and well so far, the Vicar Apostolic for Southern Arabia, Mons. Paul Hinder, confirms, and that rumours about his crucifixion on Good Friday have been fabricated:

I spoke to my previous parish priest, who is Syro Malabar and a good friend of mine. He told me that he heard the terrorist group may be demanding a ransom and that Fr. Tom is alive.
