Yes, they’re actually making a show where the devil is a good guy.

Boycotts and protests are in order.
I saw the previews for this show, looks like its going to be a comedy, Im not surprised at all though, after all, its hollywood, who else would they worship?

This show is just more of the same old brainwashing and systematic conditioning of the population, getting them into the mindset to accept Satan rather than God.

I can’t imagine Fox doing this with much good taste, apart from anything else.

On the other hand there was a BBC Radio comedy series about 10 years ago called Old Harry’s Game which was satire more than anything else, and not merely funny (which given its comedy is frankly all that matters) but also tasteful. My point is you CAN mak a comedy in Hell. But one might not be wise to trust US Television to make it…

I believe it’s just another comedy. I wouldn’t take it too serious, I mean, the creaters are hardly satanists.

Well, this probably comes as a shock to some, but as a younger person, I can say that we’ve been heading down this path for years.

How many episodes and shows are there were vampires are the good guy, or maybe just the proverbial romance “bad” boy?

It does twist things up from my vantage point.

And no, I won’t be watching a show where the devil is the good guy and blames his Dad. Sounds like a convenient way to attack God and get away with it among the low-info crowd.

I think I see where you’re going with this. Some US television production today is about advancing an agenda.

Satan is the LAST person anybody wants to
get familiar w/, note in proverbs it says to
avoid a man of hot temper, what about a
PROUD SELFISH LYING devil?? I for
one do not want to be found in the same
room as one like that for even a MINUTE!!

I read that C.S. Lewis wrote a book about the devil and his nephew talking about the best way to gain someone’s soul.

We should boycott any bookstore that sells it!!!

Meh, if it gets made, it’ll probably not be that big. If it does, then cross that bridge when you get to it. Otherwise, making a fuss about it gives more publicity, which is why a network would make a show like this.

On that note, anyone here ever see Studio C’s Shoulder Angel/Shoulder Devil skits?

I apologize for the rant and name-calling CAForums
deserve better. Also it says in Scripture: “Finally
bros., whatever… is noble, whatever
is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, what-
ever is admirable-if anything is excellent or
praiseworthy-think about such things.” Phil. 4:8

I don’t think anyone will genuinely feel more sympathetic to Satan as a result of this.

Depends what the script and acting is like.

I know plenty of diehard Republicans who develop a warm and rosy view of the Democratic Party after a few episodes of The West Wing.
