I assume you meant “perverse” here. Regardless, your lack of compassion for gays and lesbians is a separate subject (one I’m relieved I don’t have to engage with). This thread’s focus is on physical attacks on gays and lesbians. LaSainte’s point below seems most apt here:
There is a difference between people who have homosexual tendencies and gays and lesbians. The Roman Catholic Church knows that and does not treat the two groups the same. I follow the Church!

If one has a homosexual tendency, the person can still teach in a Catholic school for example. But if the person identifies himself as a gay, a term evident to most people, he can’t.

Others have pointed out to you that the story you posted was probably a drug related crime. But it seems like you don’t care about that and just want to focus on violent attacks on gays. Everybody on this thread has denounced such attacks. So what’s your point?

I think the OP is just saying that some posters here act like every time an attack on a homosexual is brought up, they treat it as “propaganda for the gay agenda” which simply isn’t true. That would be like saying every time someone mentions a catholic being attack it’s really just “propaganda for the catholic agenda” Whether we disagree with a person or no, we have to acknowledge that horrible crimes do happen. And there isn’t a excuse for it.
But no one ever endorses such acts.

Justify hate crimes versus “let the gay agenda continue to push its way onto all of society”?

That sounds like a false choice if ever there was one!

Hi kelvinf, Jesus never said the coins belonged to Caesar. He said they have his face on them, that’s it. 😉
The false choice is presenting some one crime as proof people approve of it.

“Baby killers”, as you call them, are actually KILLING a human being. These sins are not even in the same ballpark.
They are different kinds of grave sins with different effects. I don’t see why one group should deserve special treatment. I don’t see why one group doesn’t know what they are doing but the other group does as you insinuated.
Do you treat people who don’t go to church on Sunday with the same contempt, or is it just the gays? It’s easy to denegrate people who have a vice that you will never even come close to understanding or feeling isn’t it?
Ask yourself whether the Catholic Church treats a worker who misses mass on Sunday in the same way as a gay.
You know for a fact that Jesus’ admonition a come from a place of love and compassion, and you yourself said that you have “ZERO” compassion for gays. That says it all.
Oh, so you knew that love and compassion take different forms, then why do you spend all your time preaching love and compassion one every single thread on homosexuality? You have always proven that you have a flawed view about love and compassion therefore it doesn’t cause me anything to tell you directly that I have ZERO compassion for gay activists.
