A new edition of the Bible published by LBI Institute features Jesus Christ as a woman. The book, Judith Christ of Nazareth, The Gospels of the Bible, Corrected to Reflect That Christ Was a Woman, Extracted From Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, includes the parable of the prodigal daughter, The Lady’s Prayer and other revised favorite passages. Except for the gender switch, the classic texts of the Gospels remain unchanged.

“This long-awaited revised text of the Gospels makes the moral message of Christ more accessible to many, and more illuminating to all,” says Billie Shakespeare of LBI Institute. “It is empowering. We published this new Bible to acknowledge the rise of women in society.”
 
It is really sick and I would suggest during a thunderstorm that authors of the Blasphemy stand under a rubber tent:mad:
 
That is blasphemy, and a disgrace to women. Iit is also historically inaccurate. I have a proposition- how about they carve in a mountain in South Dakita the faces of Georgia Washington, Theodora Roosevelt, and others, over the male-biased monument. I think that would help women relate to them better.:rolleyes:

Jesus was a woman… :nope: People today are so wrong and wrapped up in this pointless woman’s-movement. I’m all for women getting jobs that we can do and playing a sport we can play, even going to war if we can tough it out… but this??

When will people get it: MEN AND WOMEN ARE NOT THE SAME! We can be equal, but we’re not the same. Not at all. Go into a Bio class and sit there for five minutes.

Actually, we don’t really have any evidence that this is the work of Protestants. It’s not clear who or what exactly is the Law & Business Institute.
 
I once saw a crucifix with a “female christ” on it. I think Judy C. must have had some cosmetic surgery. :bounce:

Hard to say. Billie Shakespeare?:rolleyes: If it is an April Fools joke, it appears to be from two years ago, the publishing date listed on Amazon. However, it’s not clear that that’s when Amazon started listing it - you’d think there would be more user comments if it had been there that long. It may be that they recently listed on Amazon, and claimed the earlier date, but to what end I don’t know.

The article linked to in the OP listed a phone number, but that Verizon mobile number is not in service. Furthermore, there is no phone listing for LBI or Law & Business Institute near Washington. My guess is that someone threw this book together himself, and had it privately published (I think Amazon has links to such publishers). When it wasn’t selling well, and he needed more space in his garage, he sent out a press release to gullible news organizations. A few took the bait, and his book should do well now.
 
SICK, DISGUSTING,VILE Aren’t these people even a little worried that there may be a Hell? Because I can assure that’s where they will wind up for this.
