Yet another friend lost his parent to cancer

This time it’s my friend R. who lost his father after a 2-year battle with cancer.
Please pray for this deceased father and the family who is mourning him.
And please pray for a cure for cancer too. Thank you.

Eternal rest grant unto R.'s father O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him.
May he rest in peace.
May his soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Lord,
R.'s father is gone now from this earthly dwelling,
and has left behind those who mourn his absence.
Grant that they may hold his memory dear,
never bitter for what they have lost
nor in regret for the past,
but always in hope of the eternal Kingdom
where you will bring them all together again.
Through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
 
Lord Jesus, lead all souls to heaven
especially those most in need of thy mercy.

You can add me to your list of people who lost parents to cancer. Mom passed away 6 months ago.
 
I’m praying for R and his family. May the Lord be merciful to R’s father. May He comfort R’s family and friends in this difficult time. I also pray for a cure for cancer. Dear Lord, please grant us a cure for cancer. Amen.

I pray for all those who lost a parent to
the dread disease of Cancer, may they
be comforted to know that Death will
one day be conquered!!

Adding the intentions of all my (several) friends who have lost parents, siblings, spouses, dear friends and other loved ones within the last few years, to my rosary prayer intentions for this evening.

May God bless them all and may all of their deceased loved ones eternally rest in Jesus. In Jesus’ Name I pray. Amen.

Blessed Mother and St. Joseph, Please pray for all these friends who I will not list but you know who they are. Thank you. Amen.
