Yet another green scapular question

I tried searching for this answer online and on the forum but couldn’t find anything. Please forgive the nit picking you are about to read. Lol!

I know you can give (with or without their knowledge) a person a green scapular and pray for healing for A person but can I give one scapular for a couple? I want to give a scapular to my parents for the purpose of their healing, can I give a scapular to a couple or do I give them two?

How are the each going to wear it?

The deal with scapulars is that the person has to wear it and agree to the devotions attached to it.

I would pray for them. Tell them about the scapular, but don’t force it on them.
Your prayers are effective even without the aid of a scapular, you know.
You can give them medals if you feel compelled to physically giver them a sign of your prayers I suppose.

I read up on this.
There is no rules

Yes if both take one each and Wear them, brilliant,

If you give another.to hang off.the car mirror, and another to hang in the kitchen,.good!

If they both refuse to take one, or leave one in the car or house, then hide one somewhere under a book on a bookshelf in the kitchen or in the side pocket of the car,

If you cannot do that, wear your green scapular for yourself and for them,
Or, leave a green scapular on your Holy space in your room and tell God “I am leaving that scapular there near Our Lady’s statue, for my parents healing.”

The Green Scapular book says there are no rules, any of these things can be done for them,

The brown scapular and miraculous.medal have both instructions from Our Lady to be worn around the neck.

The green scapular booklet says, Our Lady gave no rules like that for the green scapular, and it is enough that you have a green scapular on your person, or that you own one and leave it somewhere,

A sacramental is something that has been blessed, so a blessed object put somewhere in a room or car, is a blessing

Mary gave the green scapular mainly for the purpose of the faith; getting it or increasing it.
The other two purposes are protection from the devil, and a peaceful death.
Mary is the one who stated what the green scapular was for.

However, you may use it for healing or for other intentions as you would any other prayer. But that is not specifically what Mary gave it to us for.

As an example, I gave one to my brother whose wife couldn’t conceive. And this condition lasted for several years. And within a very short time after putting the green scapular under their pillow, his wife conceived. So it can work other ways, but it is mainly for the faith.

Mary did lay down certain requirements. Have it blessed. To say the prayer on the scapular each and every day, “Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us now and at the hour of our death.” This is best said by the one who has the scapular, but if not, then the one who gave it to them. The scapular must be with the person, or close to the person, like in their bedroom, or family room, or pocket, wallet, purse, under the mattress, and so on. And one final requirement is great trust in Mary. She herself said that this is very important … trust.

The power of the scapular is not that it is a sacramental, but rather that it has the backing of the mother of God. She is the one, her word, that makes the scapular powerful. It is important to follow Mary’s requirements and not just do it any ole way.

I am elderly, and one of my consolations is the green scapular I carry on me always, and say the prayer multiple times a day, for I trust her word when she promised a peaceful death to those who follow her way and use it.
