I’m so glad you asked ❤️ I bought this cookie jar with part of my first paycheck from my first “real” job (post-university degree completion). I saw it in a vintage goods store display window months earlier and decided I’d buy it once I found work, if it hadn’t been sold to someone else by then. (Sorry, it badly needs to be dusted 😳)

Yes…it’s a mail-order vitamins and supplements catalog, and I’m waiting until my supplies run low…

Yes I still have my high school ring.

Yes, definitely, but I haven’t eaten pancakes in many years…

Yes!! We met in first grade [in 1953]…it was a Catholic school, so we were in the same class for 8 years, in an inner-ring suburb…went our separate ways…flash forward to 1988 - I was teaching PSR in my present rural parish, which had six worship sites, and we met again at a parish-wide meeting of PSR teachers…we’ve been parishioners here, 60 miles from where we met, for 30+ years.

Yes, but don’t use them regularly yet.

No, free single-use plastic shopping bags are illegal here under most circumstances. Since we have to pay for them (when we can find them—most shops offer paper or reusable these days), it makes more sense to use reusable bags.

Do you have a pair of binoculars?
