We have one of these somewhere still, I think, though it’s been years since I last saw it. (This is just a pic from Google Images.) It was handed down from mother to daughter in my wife’s family. They had to put hot charcoal inside the iron, and keep replacing it as it went cold.

I like the wooden handle,so worn…imagine all the hours spent ironing clothes…My mother has an old one somewhere.
 
The regular electric iron gets no use in my house. I’m not very domestic at all. 😦 Would not make a good wife in that department.

I don’t like it, GF. It looks too much like a weapon to me. (I’ve been watching too much TCM.)

Nope.For many years my children and I just watched selected DVDs .
Do you forget to print off photo’s? Always hope to get around to it but don’t?
 
That would require a device to take said photos, for which I have no need…

Nope. You cant trust me around power tools either.

Yes I do, but I like the power ones better and I mulch my leafs with the mower.

No…the next-door neighbor has eleven cats…

No but my dad has.
Do you have fluffy rabbit slippers(house shoes?)
 
Yes…my father raised canaries, and the music was beautiful!

No, but I have two violins.
