Not really, we don’t get many anymore, mostly franked. I had a book years ago but my dear mother cleared out my room as soon as I mistakenly left home and …gone in a flash like all my childhood stuff. Can’t do that anymore, my children won’t let me and if I do they’ll make me pay for the subsequent counselling! Lol.

RU still eating turkey?

Not today as I observe meatless Fridays, but tomorrow is another day.
RU a Dr Who fan?

I and every child in the UK used to be a doctor who fan in the sixties I’m sure. But, and it’s a big but, things change, the new doctor Who wears stilletoes and it’s a bit too weird for me now. I preferred it when it was low budget, and I was low height, far more scary.

RU seeing an optician soon?

Yes, I am due for my annual eye check in about three months. Since I am diabetic the exam is usually a bit more involved.

RU fond of gardening?

I don’t have a green thumb.

RU the owner of a fridge filled with leftover turkey?

There is no turkey in my fridge. I bought just enough for the Thanksgiving meal and not one morsel in excess of that need (leg quarter; there’s only two of us).

RU a vegan?

Like Spock? No. He was make believe you know?

RU annoyed by people misunderstanding things you say?

Yes, I’ve probably visited, oh, around sixteen or seventeen villages! Mostly looking for my dad for my mum.

RU avoiding malls and instead internet shopping this Christmas?

I will internet shop some, and go to stores that are not part of the mall.
RU bilingual?

If by bilingual you mean can I speak two languages then yes, I speak a little German when in Italy, Italian when in Germany and Mongolian in Scotland. I’m also refluent in French. Which isn’t as easy as they say.

RU often confused by the tv schedules?

and Mongolian in Scotland
The shaking of the ground and sound you just heard was my grandfather turning over in his grave. 😜

I am not confused by TV schedules, because I rarely watch broadcast TV. Besides I am now addicted to watching British detective shows like Foyle’s War, Midsomer Murders, Morse/Endeavour and etc on the net.

RU a marathon runner?

Not since they changed the name to snickers.
(I used to run a lot in my youth but never a marathon, my son ran about four, must’ve been something he ate.)

RU a considerate driver?

I’m not a film fan in general, but the majority of my preferred films are indeed classic (1940s or earlier).

RU having a hot drink at the moment? :coffee:

I am a great singer–in my car, with the radio on or a CD. 😊

RU sick of turkey and wishing to be done with it once and for all until next year?
