No…we live in ‘the sticks’…nobody actually lives in a city…people exist there, but they don’t really live…

There was a time when history was the last thing that could hold my attention, but as I age I find the past more and more intriguing. Long way from “buff” status, though.

No…brown hair, becoming more sparse all the time…

RU a ‘Jeopardy’ fan?
 
Yes! I only have the opportunity when I’m in the US, which happens about once every four years. 😐 When I visit my parents, my father and I enjoy watching together. Now that he’s in failing health, I wonder how many such occasions we have remaining.

RU adopted?
 
I do like their music—“Good Vibrations” is one of the most musically brilliant pop songs ever written—but not to the point of anything I’d define as fandom.

RU doing anything to celebrate Valentine’s Day?
 
I bought a nice box of chocolates for my wife, and we’d planned on going out to dinner at our favorite restaurant, but they’re having a special discount that day, and they’ll be packed…we’ll eat out on Valentine’s Eve…

I was licensed in California, and Maryland at one time. As a retired Navy Hospital Corpsman I was a cross between a paramedic, nurse, medical technician, and physician’s assistant. In the civilian world I am a registered nurse that specializes in public health.

I am just an old retired curmudgeon now.

Although I am a Hoosier (a nickname for those of us from Indiana) I am not a NBA fan. However I enjoy college ball and local high schools.

RU planning dining out on St. Valentine’s Day?
 
We had planned on it, but our favorite restaurant ran Valentine’s Day coupons in the local paper, so they’ll be packed…we’ll go there on Valentine Eve, and beat the rush…

RU a newspaper subscriber?
 
Yes…we have several Godchildren…some visit regularly with their children…

RU a ‘Father Brown’ fan?
 
I have enjoyed audio books in the past but haven’t indulged recently. Should give that another go.
