I am literally sick watching so many people, like Michael J. Fox, suffer needlessly from parkinson’s disease and other ailments, while cures are being ignored by the liberal media and left wing politicians. As most of you know, there are two types of stem cells:
Embryonic ( ESC ) and Adult ( ASC ). Now, ESC have produced no positive results and in fact cause cancer in some cases. ASC have produced many cures and treatments, while not producing any noticeable negative side effects. Despite all this, the liberal media and leftist politicians keep saying " the potential, the potential, the potential… " It makes me sick and outrages me. Because idiots keep spouting nonsense about stupid non productive byproducts of slaughtered babies, people like MJF, and also my wife ( brain injured, whom ASC’s could help ) cannot get the treatments and cures they really need.It makes me sick, were I not catholic, I might even consider violence against these *)(&(^& politicans that deny my wife the treatment she needs, to gain power and money, and advance their pro death agenda.

There’s a lot more money in ESCs than there is in ASCs. A scientist who creates a line of ESCs, can patent that line, and collect royalties from everyone who uses them in research. ASCs are typically removed from an adult, manipulated, then inserted back into the same adult. There’s not much money in that.

Politicians will always follow the money. It’s sad, but true. They don’t follow morality. They follow money.

I’m with you (except for the violence part).

The emphasis on ESCs as a panacea for presently incurable diseases is “doubly evil”, as you point out; killing innocents to obtain the “raw materials” and the propaganda and shift of resources away from ACSs, which have produced real cures.

I’m convinced it’s evil at work, rather than stupidity…or evil behind the stupidity.
