You’ve come a long way. Good for you. Now, the challenge from the Closing Song thread, minor in compare, but nonetheless… 😮 🎶

Thanks be to God! And thanks be to God’s people, like you, on this message board! 🙏🙏🙏

I cannot seem to stop smiling. I have great joy in my heart today.

So, what is your plan for future confessions? Once a month is good. Get in the habit so you don’t go through all that angst again.

Well done.

“When you approach the tabernacle remember that he has been waiting for you for twenty centuries.”
–St. Josemaria Escriva

My plan is to try to go every two weeks. But I know the devil is out their lurking and will be trying to mess with my schedule.
Please pray for me that I can stay the current course.
I do not want to backslide now, just when I broke a long absence for the confessional. Thanks in advance for all prayers! 🙏❤️✌️😀

Will pray for you. Can you think of anything else in your life that you do every 2 weeks or monthly that you can tie going for reconciliation to? That is what helps me.

Right now I am basking in the joy from not having been the confession and Communion in a long time. But I feel that my current spirit high will eventually subside a bit. That is my main concern.
Confessions are here from 3 to 5 p.m. on Saturdays, not a great time. Of course, I could always make an appointment, but I do not want to burden the busy priest just for my own convenience.
My plan is to go to Church one week from this Saturday, at around 2:30 p.m. Get in line early. Confess. Do my penance. And then try to do the same thing two weeks later.
I am a fairly disciplined person.
I physically work out on a regular basis.
I just need to work regular confessions into my schedule.
God has to be at the center of my life. For too long, I have placed God to the left or the right of center.
Again, I ask all on the CAF message board to say a little prayer for me. Thanks, Mtatum1958, and everyone else here!

Thanks for your wisdom and encouragement. God bless you, Brittany!
