Well, then, I guess it’s all just fine, since (1) it wasn’t a Mass, (2) it wasn’t in a “parish”, (3) it wasn’t in the USA, (4) “some want to jump for joy”. There is
such a thing as being so open-minded, so tolerant, so politically-correct, that one’s brains fall out.
wow, you people got a bit jumpy in here.

excuse me manfred the reasons I said what I said is because for the last few years that I’ve been on this forum, I have heard everyone in here talk about “as long as it is done outside of mass” AND “other countries have different cultures where certain things are allowed”

a poster came in here and said the African dance would have been ok if it was outside somewhere and not inside. I was pointing out that this last U-Tube video linked was in a different country AND not during a Mass. And a few people can’t figure out how that might be different

scary.
I still hold that it looked to me that the people dancing were filled with the fire of the Holy Spirit. It was some sort of adoration in a different country. We may not understand their culture. I also still hold that we should not sit in judgment when we don’t have all the facts. And we never do with this stupid U-Tube videos. It is uncharitable in my opinion. I think the Church teaches us something on this
There is such a thing as being so brain washed, so unquestionably indoctrinated that the spewing forth of bumper sticker arguments is mistaken for intelligent debate.
