You regularly dream about posting.
You have trouble in real-life conversation expressing yourself without the smilies, because there is no facial expression equivalent to takeoff and heart, for starters.
You plan menus based on the need to eat with one hand – not the typing hand – and not to spill anything.
When someone asks what you did all day you say, “I was online” and when your friend says, “Doing what?” you don’t understand the question.

:curtsey:🤷
Why?

Seriously, why did you not understand the question?

Because, what else would someone be doing online besides being on CAF? The terms are synonymous to the true CAF addict.

…you search through threads in which you can make some meaningless comment so your thread count will reach a milestone.

I need 19 more after this one to get to 4000 😃
I SO do that, too. :rotfl:

🤷 🙂
I just remembered you have said The terms are synonymous to the true CAF addict.

Why?

Why are terms synonymous to the true CAF addict?

When your sister complains you spend more time with CAF then you do with the entire family! And she’s right!😃

When out in Nebraska last week, I was on-line at least one third of my time there! I didn’t think I was ignoring THAT sister either.

I find this web site very stimulating and that’s a lot more than can be said for life around here!

God Bless!

Why your sister complains you spend more time with CAF?

When you’re typing any web address, , you often automatically type “forums.catholic-questions.org” from muscle memory, and then end up spending an hour on CAF and forget what you were doing in the first place.

My siter is lapsed and thinks I am on a 5 year religious kick. So does my daughter. I can’t seem to make them understand I love to spend my time talking and learning about God and my faith. I was lapsed for 35 years plus. I missed out on alot of Vatican II and how it is for the Catholic Church today. It hurts she feels that way. I also live with her and her husband. My sister from Nebraska is an observing member here.

God Bless!

:hug1: You are kind, Sister.
May God bless you and your sister.

😊
it is not proper for me to always ask: Why?

My family was raised Catholic until I was about 13. My one sister and I were placed in a catholic orphanage for 4 years, run by Precious Blood nuns. Very Interesting!😃

When we came home to Mother, we just weren’t pushed to go to church anymore. This was after 4 years of Mass 6 days a week. My mother feel away and we went with her. I did not understand the signifiance of God as I do now. Unforutanely I did not raise my daughter in the church either. She is baptized thanks to my sis. That is all. My sister fell away some years ago also. I just found that after 45+ years my life was nothing. I am nothing and I couldn’t figure out why. I went to church one day and found I was home. She just has not made this decision yet. My daughter is hedging on religion altogether. She is the one that scares me most. Her soul is as important as my sister’s, I just failed her miserably. She in essence did not have a chance where God is concerned. She recieved very litttle instruction on the importance of God and her life. I pray for the mistakes that I have made with her and trust that in His time, He will bring them in. He did with me. I trust God in His ways, even if I don’t understand them!

God Bless!

Whenever you actually NEED to get something done you tell yourself no CAF today. Then you rush through it and do a terrible job because you can’t get this fabulous idea for a post out of your head.

And when you actually get an idea for this thread, you rush to a computer. Who cares if the dog needs to pee?
