as some of you may remember, naomi was born with congenital heart defects-- defects we had expected would eventually require surgery to fix.
when she was 2 and a half years old, dr. suggested it was time for the surgery. i asked you to pray. my husband and i talked a lot about it and decided, with the dr’s agreement that, because there was no crisis, we’d delay surgery a while longer until naomi had more language and could understand things better.
well last year, when she was 3 and a half, we were surprised and happy when they upgraded her 3X yearly appointments to every 12 months.
our first ***yearly ***appointment was today. now that naomi is older, my husband and i half expected there would be talk of treatment (surgery.)
**instead, dr. upgraded her to TWO YEAR APPOINTMENTS. naomi doesnt have to go back for a cardiology check up till she 6 and a half years old. **
God is good. praise be to GOD.
